It is a plateau indian beaded bag, known sa the flat bag that is outstanding and very rare to find one that is made with hide on both sides, as many are made with only hide on one side and the other out of some kind of trade cloth. But, not this nice find, it is leather on boht sides. It is from the early 1900s and measures a nice size of 14.5 x 9.5. It is getting harder to find these beautiful beaded indian treasures any more and are very collectable.
The bead work is still veyr tight. It is in great condition and much nicer ni person.
It has never been uesd and has been stored away for many years. Remember the holidays will be here soon and this would make a nice gitf or addition to any native american collection. Reserves are very very low for this nice piece. Please look at my other items such as navajo rugs, pottery, kachinas, baskets and beadwork.
