250 18Th19th Century Native American Trade BeadsMy mother made jewelry. She used only vintage stones, crystals, beads, findings and natural materials and was very, very picky about the material she bought and used. Haunting estate sales, flea markets, yard sales, she was usually the first buyer there. She was a popular artist for 45 yeras turning out beautiful fashion jewelry and native american pieces. Her heritaeg was creek/delaware. These items are from her collection which is all pre-1980 with most tiems from the late 1880's through 1950's. She also collected native american trade beads. Up for bid is a collection of very rare, handmade native american beads and trade beads. Most from the late 18th and through the 19th century with a few dating from 1900-1915 or so. There is a strand of 55 bone, stone and glass very early handmade pony-sized beads. A few appear ot be horn. 35 matching bone natural crow beads, 25 bone and stone natural seed beads, 45+ glass and stone seed beads, 40 crow and pony beads of glass, stone, horn, bone in natural and herb-dyed colors, a few with white hearts, 18 late 1800's glass, bone stone crow and pony loose beads, a strand of 38 skunk and white hearts mid 1800's, strand of 32 herb-dyed and natural crows and many, many more.
